Not sure which if any of those made the difference or if the planets just came into the correct alignment or something. Solved... The yaw axis on my quad was twitching between 1300 and 1500 throttle values. I've used Blackbox, and it looked like I have weird spikes on my yaw gyro trace. So as a solution, I've soft mounted my Naze32 Rev 6, and it completely solved the problem. • Posts: 1 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: May 2016 Reputation: 0 04-May-2016, 08:55 PM (This post was last modified: 04-May-2016, 08:56 PM by QuadroBro.) Hello Pilots! I had the same problem with a 180 size quad with red bottoms. at Hover it stuttered bad!! I finally fixed it by adding some vibration dampening within the studs and the flight controller. I also performed a ECS and top end motor calibration. now the problem is fixed. Alien 4inch, 2600kv redbottoms, little been 20amp , naze32 rev6. Bad stutter at about 20 to 50% throttle. Same gear same issue , figure it out? I've got the same problem at 25-40% throttle.. I set up a Blackbox and figured out it's the yaw axe.. Now I lowered yaw P in two profiles to test it out.. On betaflight 2.9 it's stock at 80, now I did a profile 1 with 70 and profile 2 with 50.. Will tell you as soon as I have tested it. • Posts: 918 Threads: 83 Likes Received: 533 in 271 posts Likes Given: 498 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 30 06-Aug-2016, 10:49 AM (This post was last modified: 06-Aug-2016, 10:51 AM by BigglesFPV.) Seriously though, A lot of issues can be solved by re-flashing firmware and calibrating esc's. As a computer engineer I come across so many problems (that according to text book, tech notes etc) that should not happen, but do in the real world. in the words of the IT Crowd, "Have you tried turning it off and back on again"? • Posts: 5,322 Threads: 673 Likes Received: 3,159 in 1,747 posts Likes Given: 2,032 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 (06-Aug-2016, 10:38 AM)GentaFTW Wrote: I've got the same problem at 25-40% throttle.. Then I lowered the filter of yaw from 80 to 65 and then to 50, but the wobble at ~35% throttle is always there.. The strange thing is that at lower or higher throttle everything is good.. Any idea what else I could try? I know guys are having major issues with Naze32 Rev6.... I'd throw it in the bin personally higher KV motor is probably introducing a vibration - the problems with the Naze seem related to the gyro, and so vibration is a consideration with them http://intofpv.com/t-new-betaflight-2khz...-vibration I am having the same problem .. Im using an f4 omnibus and I have switched in between like 3 different flight controllers.. I think it's beta flight running against the non pro little bee 20amp .. I have the exact setup with little bee "PRO" esc's and it flys like butter .. so WTH Ive tried everything .. I acheived almost passable results with my P's in the 80s My I's in the 60s and my D on 50 .. but still pretty terrible .. and when I got it going it flew so wonky it was scary.. gotta be a problem with the ESC's has to be Ive switched everything else • Posts: 2 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: May 2017 Reputation: 0 I am running on a QAV 210 F4 Omnibus Beta Flight 3.17 Non Pro little bee 20 amp Emax red bottoms 2300 5045 bullnose Lumenier PDB I also have a very unamused girlfriend due to my foul language and obsessive tuning in the park Ive Tried every setup there is .. I think it's the ESC .. because I have an almost Identical setup with the Pro version and Ive like swapped all the parts aroound enough times that by process of elimination that must be it. Please if anyone figures this out shoot me a line Im about to go to Florida this weekend and I don't want to bring my stupid sketchy drone not flying right • Posts: 1,149 Threads: 50 Likes Received: 704 in 450 posts Likes Given: 1,189 Joined: Sep 2016 Reputation: 30 Does your build have low-esr caps anywhere in the power train? If not, could be that esc voltage spikes somehow feed back into the gyro power supply... gyros can be quite sensitive to electrical noise. • |
