I have used copper shielding tape a few times on an ESC and a vtx but I can't say for sure if it did much (without grounding it probably why it never made much difference).
If you still want to mount it then you can cover the bottom face with electrical tape to avoid any contact with the motor pads.
This is what I do not like about short stack heights because its hard to keep components apart to avoid noise in the system.
The tape is a good idea.
I usually have good video if I use the FC vtx bec +/- to power camera and vtx.
It’s a short stack and the device is so flimsy it hits solder joints.
The camera mount hits the micro USB port for betaflight so there’s not enough room in this build.
If my video is noisy I may try one but if not I’m leaving it off.
I am waiting on a tpu antenna mount but other than that it’s ready.
I don’t know what to think about frame yet but after building and flying an Apex my expectations are high.
