Allow me to introduce myself

Am currently experimental helicopter pilot  and have always flown RC helicopters. Once I started flying the real things, I kinda gave up RC's until now. FPV video has changed all that for me. I'm trying to retrofit an RC controller to real world controls on a stationary cockpit and wondering how to incorporate or change potentiometers to implement real world control sticks to simulate helicopter controls. Hope I'm not being too redundant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hey Gary, welcome to intoFPV! Simulation/reality of aviation equipment is way beyond my level of knowledge however it might make more sense to start a new thread to introduce yourself and then a second new thread to talk about the kind of controls being used for flight. I hope you enjoy your time here on the forums!

New to this quad world, everything is new! (can`t wait to make the jump and start flying) I`m an American living in Brasil and I enjoy all types of racing and photography...........so I think this new world of quad copters will be the perfect combination.

I`m thinking LOS to learn the basics then go to FPV. Right now i`m reading everything I can get my hands on and soaking up info like a sponge.

Hi All

Martyn from Scotland here

Have flown rc helis in the past with varying degrees of success.

Decided to buy my first drone and being the kind of person to jump right in I have bought a Diatone GT200 2017 stretch model. Its took a week or so to get it flight ready using beta flight and tx companion.

Also got the Taranis q x7 transmitter

The usual mismatch with tx and rx software sorted by flashing euro LBT to x4rsb rx.

See loads of posts online about this people flashing euro on tx and rx getting solid red green lights on rx when trying to bind , really frustrating if you have euro tx

Get the euro LBT fimware if you have the x4rsb reciever !!

Anyway I joined here to learn and impart what little knowledge I learn along my journey , be it long or short in my new hobby.

Cannot wait  for the next dry day here .... could be a long wait though.

My name is Don and I am new to FPV and this seemed to be a great place to start and learn. I have a Tiny Whoop 8, A Frsky Taranis x9D and Oamway V1 goggles and I also have no idea what to do to make them all work together.

Hi everyone,

I mainly fly DJI drones now and I'm interested in getting into FPV drones. I'd like to fly something with the DJI FPV combo along with a drone that holds a GoPro8. I came here for thoughts and suggestions on potential drones and packages in general. I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Thank you

Toby

Hi guys, I'm Sense, i first started flying FPV and quads building a ZMR 250 .. about 4 years ago .. now..

Over these years i have built several other quads including alien, AP5, Source one ..
I also make music and love capturing FPV video and setting it to the music i make..
Over the years i have followed Oscar's forum and asked questions there and always recieved a wonderful helpful response to the things i needed to know.

I look forward to contributing here to the community the best i can ..

i got a playlist here on youtube of those videos of FPV flying footage and the music i make with them,  i hope you enjoy!
