Advice to stabilize with gyroflow and runcam orange 5
#1
Hello Smile

in past week i have opened a theared where i was asking to some one to give me some raw movie with gyro data of the runcam orange 5 because i want to test it with gyroflow.

so the user @pekka give me is raw movie with gyro data;

i did some test to stabylise that:

because here i generete an output but i'm not been able to remove the vibrations, i think all these are caused by drone or mount Rolleyes

TEST 1 :

these are the settings used in gyroflow for the movie above:

---
TEST 2: I only change the setting " input low pass filter cutoff (hz) " from -1 to 40 ....and result is improved a lot, but still some issue, maybe caused by basic vibrations too much ;

settings used:

1) to do better the stabilization what i should do ?

2) the original movie is been filmed in 1920 x 1440 (4:3) and i have saved to do quickly in 1920x1080 (16:9)

I think I had to drop the low pass filter to 20-30 to get clean gyro data and second option in stabilization (basic pitch/roll/yaw) worked better than 3D.

Vibrations are from the whole drone shaking. It's very sensitive to wind. In zero wind it's stable.

A soft tpu mount is recommended for the runcam but I use a hard gopro mount to be able to quickly switch between the runcam and gopro.

You can also edit the video length in gyroflow, so you don't have to render the entire 12min video each time.

I don't see anything here man wrong! Aren't you happy already with this? people really become extremely demanding with the smallest of things. Be happy with what you've done and enjoy it. Very nice video dude!
