4 inches freestyle motors?

Rotorbuilds can be a good resource for tried and tested setups as well, but just keep in mind that some of those builds may have ended up flying like garbage because you only generally get to see the build log and not how they end up flying.

Even though its not *crazy* fast, my 85g dry 1404 has been my favourite. 160g with 650mah 4S.

But, you need toothpick light components. No heavy 9g camera. No stupid 20mm stack. And, you cannot slap it on some heavy frame.

PickleFork 156mm 14g. (PickleBig, GRX4, and Mutant4 also good sub21g options)
Xing1404 3800KV.
HQ T4025.
Light canopy Caddx Firefly
6g iFlight 20A AIO... save 2g with Caddx Ant.

2004, 1805, especially 2204.. too big heavy for an agile 4". Regardless how *powerful* the motor, you gotta move all that mass with only 4" of air.

Hi roman,

Yes, I agree {for something fast and agile}. I like the specs on that build. Even though I am not a Freestyler, I am always looking to keep the weight as light as possible. My builds are quite a bit heavier, but then I have heavier frames and GPS unit as well. Although I like flying all of my quads, the Katana-LR4 with those Brotherhobby 1504.5 motors is really smooth with solid power. I am looking to build a lighter weight 4 inch. Where did you get the Pickle Fork 156mm 14 gram frame ??

the bh vy1504,5 2650kv paired with the hglrc 16x16mm 6s stack on gf4023 with 450mah 6s or less might be the most lightweight and intressting option to me.

a traditional freestyle 4inh seems a gecko with 1408/1507 to me

That's why I preferred to start a thread here, I'd like to hear real feedback rather than look at nice pictures and component lists.
