As long as the sound is in sync with the video at all times. Volume balance is key haha. Most people fly absolutely fine without audio. As you said it's just a personal preference. To me it feels like my flying improves like 50% at least. Way easier to level out of dives without applying too much throttle for example. Oh and sugs, audio is definitely synced up perfectly. Well I've had no desyncs at least. • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 (18-Jan-2020, 04:00 PM)kaitylynn Wrote: Does the audio feed come through the goggles? I know there is an 1/8" speaker socket on the underside of my Attitude's and I read it was for audio...but never took the time to actually check it out. I could hook one of our portable phone speakers there and test it, thanks for the FYI! Always excited to try something new The audio automatically comes through the 1/8" audio as you referenced to. Space will be plenty for building your stack and no props on video (deadcat style) is a plus too. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4054381 Posts: 214 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 110 in 76 posts Likes Given: 34 Joined: May 2019 Reputation: 6 (19-Jan-2020, 11:01 AM)brnmd Wrote: I would suggest the frame that David Cledon designed for your purpose, but it's really more usefull using a split camera than a GoPro like camera. Not really what I need right now though. I'd like to work with the parts I already have and I need a frame that can take a hard hit. I was actually thinking about using a runcam split mini 2 that I also have doing nothing at the moment but I opted to go with a session since it should have enough power to carry it easily and the image quality is just so much better still. Plus I love drawing up and printing custom parts for my quads ?. You made me want a 4inch lr quad now instead of a 7inch though. Oooooh so many projects I want to do! I just can't wait for my parts to arrive! Oh I also ordered some gemfan windancer 4032 as well as the hq 4043, would have loved to try the hq 4inch bi blades but they only have the tmount version available... Too bad pressed nuts can't be used for the inboard arm screws in a 20x20 configuration or something. 16x16 stacks have no business on a 4" quad imho and really restrict the possibilities of this frame. • Posts: 214 Threads: 9 Likes Received: 110 in 76 posts Likes Given: 34 Joined: May 2019 Reputation: 6 Woohoooo, my vtx arrived this morning. Starting the build log tonight! I found out of crossfire nano rx is bricked or at least seems like it so that sucks (fast blinking green light, according to the tbs site i need a specific tbs product to fix it.......) but I think I have a spare xm+ somewhere. Have to order a new nano rx though.... Can't wait to build/fly this puppy! Too bad on the RX, at least you have one you can use for testing. SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Suggestions? • Posts: 3,288 Threads: 129 Likes Received: 2,740 in 1,644 posts Likes Given: 2,969 Joined: Apr 2017 Reputation: 65 I always start fresh when creating build logs, but there is no set way. Just seems easier to keep things related to the actual build separated. SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Addicted :) |
