Up to 80 on shoulders though!
225 bench. maybe 240 max 1 rep.
edit:
big plateau at 180 and again 220.
No matter how many reps or what cheats.. cant push more
Sometimes we fall off... or at times we retire things. In the book of Ecclesiastes we read “there is a time for everything” — so what I’m getting at is never reflect as the past being anything negative. 80’s on shoulders is MASSIVE!! I couldn’t ever get past 70’s!!
Plateaus in lifting can be challenging in the gym! It took me years of experimenting to find ways around it!!....
The two easiest ways I found....... oddly, take two weeks off from the gym (if you are a complete gym rat, you will find it sooooo hard to take two weeks off) but during this time I would advise to find a new workout routine (muscle confusion) and I’d stick w/my new routine for 6-10 weeks. Afterwards return to max out again!
The other way I found to break plateaus is to add chains to your barbell OR instead of 2-45’s on each side I’d do 25Lb plate + 6 or 7 10’s... i felt the change of weight and I’d do one or two sets of that through out each workout...
Last, while you are out of the gym find YouTube videos of people’s routines... and find new things to incorporate. Make those two weeks off to grow in a different direction.
