I just bought a darkmax 220mm and I set it up like all me other drones but when I blip the throttle the drone disconnects from my remote and does not reconnect until you unplug and replug in the battery. So does anyone have any clue.

Brownout causing something to reset maybe? If you do this on the ground, does it look like anything is resetting? (looking at the LEDs)

What pack are you using with it? When I started flying, I was using some small motors that did not pull a lot of juice. I bought some batteries with low C rating and they worked fine. Eventually built a craft with some power hungry motors and found the lower rated packs could not deliver enough current to keep up and it would reboot the FC...shifted from 30C to 75C at the suggestion from another pilot and the problem went away.

Do you have anything other than your receiver being powered off your flight controller? VTX perhaps?
