I wired up the eachine pro58 diversity receiver to my eachine ev100s through a spare av pad. I took power and ground with a 5v buck voltage converter from the main power in. (I followed dronemesh how to video for this setup). It works as expected but I get diagonal lines all over my image.

I experimented a bit and even when I'm using the onboard ev100 receiver and the diversity unit is powered I get the same diagonal lines. Unpower the diversity unit and the lines go away.

Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can clean up the image? Was looking forward to upgrading from the eachine firmware to Achilles but it I cant get the lines to go away I'm going to dump it all. I'm on a tight fpv budget and $25 bucks was a worthy gamble for diversity

Maybe try putting a small low ESR capacitor across the main power before the buck.

I've had a similar issue generated from my VTX. Capacitor didn't fit it but taking the camera and VTX off the same 0V pad on the FC did. Maybe you could try moving all of your 0V to the same point in your goggles.
