So I wrecked my flywoo explorer and now the video only works when I’m 3 feet from the drone and pointed straight at it ....I replaced the antenna (bc I had one handy) still only works three feet from quad ....I checked all wires everything seems fine ...wasn’t a hard crash but ended upside down ...any help would be appreciated

These components don’t say “Tonka” on them.. some crashes that will make u cringe only breaks props, others “not hard” or “didn’t seem bad”.. end up having some electronic component as collateral damage... I’ve seen FCs let out “magic smoke” from a single blade of grass...

Can you check smart audio RX wire connection to the vtx and FC?

Perhaps the vtx is stuck in pitmode. Try and manually set the power using the button function and confirm that the led flashes are indicating the correct power level.

If that doesn’t work (button on vtx) try setting it in betaflight..

This is what it says in beta I changed vtx an went back in an still says this

..rush "yes"..AKK, not so much.... honestly Ive got better performance from a $14 Panda rc than a $30 AKK... Just my $.02

So I was gonna jus get the same one that came on it ...but I’ll get a better one ..I jus don’t know what a better one is ...do I have to look for one that only draws this much power etc.....could you show me what would work ...should I get a 1000 watt for long range or like I said jus get the same one that came on it

1000watt is a bit too much :-) 1watt is still plenty power ;-)
as example 400mw is still alot a could work for miles.

it depends on your radio gear, if you dont have crossfire or another lr radio gear - 200mw might still outperfrom your radio link than.
