Oh yeah, one other thing.

If you buy a NEW FrSky transmitter, it will likely be ACCESS...NOT ACCST.

From what I can tell, most of the whoops with built in FrSky receivers use the older ACCST protocol. So, If you bought the Taranis and a Mobula6 then you actually might NOT be able to bind them. How is that for an incompatibility. FrSky has made a mess of things with this new ACCESS protocol and NOT supporting their own older ACCST protocol.

If you buy just a receiver, then it could be flashed with the older firmware, but that is a pain, as well.

I was looking at both RadioMaster TX12 and Jumper T-lite as both are smaller. I went with T-lite because I had LiteRadio2 and was used to it. T-lite has a Hall sensor gimbals, however TX12 does have a better extension story.

Hi ax,

If you want to use TBS Crossfire or one of the other long range modules, the RadioMaster is the Better choice. Also, it is more like the larger standard transmitters which are the norm.

I guess if you don't need a JR Bay and just happen to prefer a "game" controller type, the Jumper is OK, too.

For me, expandability outweighs the size. Plus, I wanted something that is more the norm...and just get used to it. I started with the tiny transmitters that come with the toy drones, moved up to one about the size of the TX12, and then to a Full Sized Jumper T16. I didn't have any issues moving to the larger format. I still have to use the smaller transmitters for my tiny whoops.
