SOLVED programming LEDs on BF
#1
I need an LED programming specialist. I have a Kakute F7 V1.5 FC flashed with the lastest software and running on BF 4.1.1

Here is what I want to accomplish:
Turn my LEDs on/off with aux4, when on, I would like them to blink. Seems simple enough...but not for me.

The LEDs will program and burn but I'm not getting to blink via aux 4 switch.
If i check the 'Always blink' tab duh...they always blink regardless if aux 4 is on or off.
I was hoping by configuring them to aux 4 that they would only blink when aux4 turns on.

I have tried numerous settings all afternoon but they seem to have a mind of their own.
The aux4 switch will turn them on/off so I am thinking there is no conflict with the buzzer (both of course have their own pins on the FC)
Thanks
Roger

All you need to do is set your LEDs to blink continuously (which it sounds like you already managed to do), and then set up the "LEDLOW" mode in the Modes tab to be active when your AUX4 switch is in the position where you want the LEDs to be OFF. When LEDLOW mode is active it completely disables (switched off) the LED Strip output signal.

So when LEDLOW is active (because you moved the AUX4 switch is in the OFF position) your LEDs will be off, and when it is inactive (because you moved the AUX4 switch out of the OFF position) then the LEDs will be on, or flashing if that is what you set them up to do when they are on.

If you get stuck setting this up then just give us another shout Smile

That makes sense. I was actually reading up on that today but I wasn't thinking about it in that type of application.

i'll change it tomorrow and report back

I couldn't wait. It works great, I'm a happy camper

Thanks Snow
