I have two Skyzone goggles. One is the 04O Pro and the other is the 04X Pro.
They both came with Steadyview V3.3 VRX. I can use RF Normal and diversity ok. However I am getting some rolling screen and tearing when I encounter a lot of multipathing in certain area.
I did fit the latest Immersion RC RapidFire module on one of the goggles and it works well. I also fitted a SpeedyBee VRX on the other goggles and that work well also. However I am still trying to mess with the Steadyview to see if I can get one to work. I have three Steadyview modules.
For example when I use Race Band channel 8 the frequency showed on top of the screen is 5917. That's when I use RF Normal and diversity (DIV). I can also change in the system folder to Mix 1, 2, and 3 but that made absolutely no difference in the image quality.
I tried to switch to Steadyview. When I am locked into a video image from a quad and I change to Steadyview I can still see the image. However when I start the goggles in Steadview then turn on the quad I get snow.
After playing around for a while I noticed that when I change from RF normal to steadyview the frequency shown on the top of the screen for Race Band channel 8 from 5917 to 58XX (I cannot remember the exact number but it was 58 something). Edit: I just checked the Streadyview X feature changed the frequency on the menu from 5917 to 5865. This was on Race Band Channel 8.
So this is like a last resort to try and find out what happens and if I can get Steadyview X to work like the SpeedyBee or RapidFire. The RapidFire fits inside the goggle VRX bay fine with a custom 3D printed cover. However the SpeedyBee has to mount on a special adapter made by Skyzone and I need to connect to the AV input and an extra Y connector for power. Just a bit clunky. So if I can get Steadyview to work it is a bit less complication.
Thanks in advance to any help. This is my first post here.
