Skyzone cobra s/x
#16
I got a set of CobraX and so far no problems.
If you are stuck wearing glasses these are likely going to be one of the best box goggles available.
Lighter than DJI goggles for sure.
I definitely would buy again.A few cons but most can be modified away.

I put some good antennas on mine and the diversity receiver RSSI jumped up to 100%.

I was getting about 75-80% with stock antennas and then I tried foxxeer lollipops but no real change.

A set of VAS Mushroom by Ethix and VAS Crosshair extreme pegged my rssi.
The Ethix has a longer straight stem which gets mushroom above noggin.
I cupped mushroom with hand and it definitely blocks signal strength by 25-30%.
The patch was effected too but only by 10-15%.
Kind of supports patches penetrate better than Omnidirectional.

Sorry someone tried to do RSSI calibration? I can't find documentation, there are two options, LOW and HIGH, which? And which is the right way to do calibration?
Thanks

It’s not really calibration but assigning a 0% measurement to goggles.
You remove receiver antennas only and turn on vtx with antenna on,then push calibrate or
Zero out the rssi and that’s it.
Then reconnect receiver antennas and power up everything and rssi should be 100% on both antennas.

They updated firmware and the calibration is different now done with antennas on always.
With vtx off turn on goggles and wait for snowy white picture and then click low rssi.
Then turn on vtx and about 2 meters away and push high side.

In the notes of firmware is the directions on how to calibrate.I can’t access download with my tablet or I’d copy/paste them.

There’s a quad finder now and it really works.I hit disarm switch by accident over a grassy field full of yellow flowers and my props were yellow.
I found my quad using the finder quickly.
