Shop Batteries
#1
Hi Folks,

I've just ordered the Radiomaster TX16s and trying to pick up batteries for it. Everywhere I've checked is either sold out or won't ship. Anyone know somewhere good to buy from, or if I can use something different from 21700 7.4v 2s or 7.4v 2s LipPoly? This is my first transmitter upgrade and I'm pretty clueless.

Cheers in advance

I just use 2 18650. Find them everywhere. What are you referring to that is sold out?

I see, you are referring to the Radiomaster brand lipo 2S 5000mah. That is a new thing to me. Anyways, you can use any 2S as long as it fits in the compartment. Otherwise, the radio comes with a carrier for 2 18650. Just pop them in and you are set.

Just a side note, good li-ion are from Panasonic, Sony, LG and Samsung. A lot of counterfeit. Buy from a reputable vendor. Li-ion are 3400-3500mah max. Which is quite a bit less than the Radiomaster 5000mah in capacity. The 3400-3500mah capacity easily gives you a whole day of flying session.

The hobby is a big learning curve. You did the correct thing by asking. Just take one step at a time. You will be rewarded at the end.

Hi, if you are in the UK, I bought my TX16S from a seller based in London, it looks like his direct website is in development at this time.
Included with my radio was a GNB 3500mAh LiHV 2s 7.6v Battery, it fits a treat.
I charged mine with a separate charger, I think it should be fine in the radio charger, but you should check this out first.
Quads--FPV-- Nice problems to have in life !
