Yeah. I think the only places that might be feasible LR candidates are the likes of the Peak District or Lake District. Possibly somewhere in central Wales around Snowdonia. Or the Scottish Highlands if you can be bothered to drive all the way up there. Most other places unfortunately consist of too much private farm land which would be difficult to do a search and retrieval from if it went down.

Oh yes! They do make the wing a lot easier to handle at low speed, it's very noticeable.
As for long range, i've been thinking about flying along the coast, maybe even out in the sea, a bit boring though LOL Big Grin

You could fly it along the coast to Portsmouth or Southampton. There's some quite interesting stuff to see along there. Not sure what the Royal Navy would have to say about that though Whistling Big Grin

What about flying it round the Isle of Wight? There's the Needles and a few other places of interest around it's coastline Smile

I've been there quite a few times as well. It's a great place to go for a break and not too far to travel to either.

There's a nice big open area around St. Catherine's Lighthouse on the southernmost point of the island with a load of footpaths running across the fields, so easy access and easy to make a recovery if need be without trespassing. A flight around the lighthouse itself would make for some great footage Smile Just be careful of the sheer cliff drop Big Grin
