Yes it should. Make sure you have the vtx tables right and also check if you have low level power mode until arm enabled. If it's enabled it will remain at 25w until you arm it. But I would guess that the problem is own the vtx table. Post your table so I can check it for you.

Thanks for the reply I checked when I got home I’ve now set the low power until arm in beta flight but it still a green light once armed I followed a JB video to set up the vtx tables I think it was tbs 2.1 that I uploaded onto it I will try and post the settings once I learned how to ???

It's nice that you turn the low power feature on, it's good for your vtx, but I meant that you could have that on and because of that you were not getting any light than green because the quad was not armed. It's really the vtx tables. Do you have the regular rush vtx? I'll put the code in here, you just have to paste it on cli. Then go to the vtx tab and confirm that everythings is fine. Just confirm the vtx model.

Check this tutorial from Oscar, it's explained in depth and it's easy to follow:

You can also get the tables from RUSH here:

You can get the json file for your rush from that google drive and import it on the vtx table tab. Hit save and you are good to go. It's easy. There is also some images of this procedure on the same google drive. The led will change, at least on my rush tank ultimate, it changes.

I had the problem where power led on vtx was always green (25mw) no matter what the power level set in BF.  I tried to get the cli file from the google drive but got a msg that its no longer available.  I found another source and had to change the power values in the BF vtx tab as follows: 14,23,27,29.  Now led on vtx shows correct color for each power level selected in BF.

I spent 2 afternoons trying to find a solution and trying different things.  Felt like Thomas Edison trying to find a light bulb filament - - I think he tried 3,000 different materials before finding the one that finally worked!

I can confirm that 14,23,27,29 works, that´s the numbers my Rush Tank Tiny came with from the factory.
Changing VTX power from a AUX chanel worked imidietly,
I use a 3 position switch and power levels 1,2,4 for 25mw,100mw,350mw and the RGB power led is changing to the correct colours.
