Yup that's how I understand it too, Snow. Which is why I don't hesitate to use copyright music as I'm not out to monetize my YT channel. From the pittance I'm hearing folks with 100K subs receive off YT, it's just not worth it to me. I view YT more as a free file sharing app much like Google Drive. • Posts: 1,312 Threads: 50 Likes Received: 832 in 504 posts Likes Given: 372 Joined: Jul 2018 Reputation: 51 (08-Jan-2022, 12:34 AM)the.ronin Wrote: Yup that's how I understand it too, Snow. Which I don't believe you do until 1000 subscribers anyway. The only irritating bit is that your video can get blocked completely in some regions, but I've only seen that a couple of times. The ground is for dead people. Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 I can't believe this worked lol. SMO4K + HDZero in one of my Sohei's. I went 450mAh 4S and it is way too small lol. 233AUW but I am still getting 3min of aggressive flight (5 min of cruising). So I'm going to look into 550mah or 650mah HV. But lol this is so awesome ... LOLLL thanks iFly The Sohei is quickly becoming my favorite frame! It's super tough but its smaller size means I can pile on random stuff on it lol. Next up will be night vision AND 4K video lol. I also think those lightweight GNB 660mah 4S lipos will be perfect for this particular build. Should put me right at about 245ish. The Tattu 450s I'm using in the video look freakishly small lol. I had to resolder longer motor wires because of the added length of the arms and I stripped wires on one motor down to the windings. I thought I had covered up a decent enough amount of the wire with heat shrink, but that motor is running hot in living room hovers. So I'm just hoping for the best. I am stoked that it's still coming in well below 250 even with a SMO 4K ... You can expect to add about a gram for each arm along with the weight of heavier props and the added motor wire lengths. Really not that much more than I expected. Also, if you are looking to run hybrid, you are good to go ... Dangerous operations. Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about. I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose. The bad news is I did in fact screw up motor #3 when I was rewiring it. I mentioned it ran a little warm during living test hover. Well it finally gave out after a few hard juice flicks. I've got a replacement on order but was hoping to make a video. The extra power is immediately noticeable. But I'm still on the fence if I'm going to keep it 3.5. I kinda liked having the 3 and the 4 and keeping their flying characteristics very distinct. This feels maybe too much like the 4 now. We'll see once I get the new motors and get to fly it more. Enjoy!! Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 Not gonna lie. These arms are a lot more funner than I expected. Hadn't flown acro in a while and the performance of this setup was a pleasant surprise!!
