Hi,
I've read most of this thread but it is very long...so here is my question, i have 4 lipo 1S, 2 lipo 3S and 3 (or four) lipo 2S...do i need to buy a box to keep them ??

I just saw a lipo fire vidéo and i'm getting nervous lol

How should i keep them to prevent a fire ?
I don't have a Lipo charger to put them in "storage mode"

Thanks

You are right to be concerned and you need to research LiPo care. It would be very wise to next buy a LiPo Balance Charger

What you could do now is to put your batteries inside a steel cooking pan with a lid to contain any fire should one start, but this is unlikely to happen, at least it will give you peace of mind.

Have a look at this post, to reassure you.

Thanks, i'll search a Lipo charger that can charge/ discharge (to 30-40% right?) multiple 1-2S battery
I'm not really confident with using a paraboard at the moment

You just need a proper LiPo charger that has a "Storage Charge" function on it. Pretty much all of the LiPo chargers with a display on have that functionality.

So my first charge of the brand new batteries showed resistance levels of around 34-40ohms. This had me worried hence my post above.

I went out over the weekend, and flew all the packs down to 3.8 per cell.

The second charge of the same brand new batteries now shows 15-20ohms

I am flying again tomorrow, so will check the levels after a 3rd charge and report back here!

Hi

What was your findings in the end. I've been trying to find out what a "good" resistance is meant to be for these minis.
