I have built a 5" on a mamba 405 stack and managed to get fport working on an r-xsr receiver using tx6 and after setting serialrx halfduplex to on. I have just switched the rx to an R9mm and flashed it with latest fport flex firmware also flashing the module with the same. Now i have telemetry on the transmitter but cant get any stick inputs on the receiver in betaflight. I have tried changing serialrx_inverted and serialrx_halfduplex but no combination of these settings resolves the lack of receiver input. Could some kind soul help please? Thanks • Posts: 21,397 Threads: 593 Likes Received: 9,029 in 6,683 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 795 How have you wired the R9MM to the Mamba F405? Some photos would be useful. Please also post a CLI dump for us to take a look over. • Posts: 1 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2020 Reputation: 0 (06-Jan-2020, 02:57 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: How have you wired the R9MM to the Mamba F405? Same problem here, before it works perfectly with any frsky receiver, now I have the R9mm-OTA (f.Port/inverted S.Port) and no stick inputs but binded. My FC is a SPAN PRO F405 BLheli32 40a (F4). I could bind my x-lite with R9m lite pro modul to the R9mm-OTA receiver but no stick inputs, also tried all variations of settings in the cli. • Posts: 21,397 Threads: 593 Likes Received: 9,029 in 6,683 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 795 (23-Jan-2020, 01:59 PM)eagleFPV Wrote: Same problem here, before it works perfectly with any frsky receiver, now I have the R9mm-OTA (f.Port/inverted S.Port) and no stick inputs but binded. Please post photos showing the wiring and solder connections between your R9MM-OTA and the HGLRC Span Pro F4 flight controller, and please also run both the "dump" and "diff all" commands in the CLI and copy/paste the results back here. Also, What is the exact firmware are you running on the R9MM-OTA, and is it a original X-Lite you have, or is it the newer X-Lite S or Pro? • Posts: 35 Threads: 4 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2020 Reputation: 0 (23-Jan-2020, 01:59 PM)eagleFPV Wrote: Same problem here, before it works perfectly with any frsky receiver, now I have the R9mm-OTA (f.Port/inverted S.Port) and no stick inputs but binded. Don't mean to hi-jack thread and don't want to make a new post being as I am having this same issue with x9lite and R9mm-OTA (nearly fell outta my seat to see someone with the same issue). I instantly registered once I saw the same problem. I have been trying to trouble shoot since the 1st of November with no luck. Have you found any work arounds? I have attached a image of how I wired up my Rx. Perhaps I have it wrong. Again, I am bound (green light). Just no input from sticks. I also have tried variations into the CLI as well with no luck. • Posts: 35 Threads: 4 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2020 Reputation: 0 (27-Jan-2020, 10:44 PM)ii ndica ii Wrote: Don't mean to hi-jack thread and don't want to make a new post being as I am having this same issue with x9lite and R9mm-OTA (nearly fell outta my seat to see someone with the same issue). After some digging, it looks like flex firmware is the way to go. I have FCC installed. Will flash flex when I get home this evening and see I that changes anything. • Posts: 12,098 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 You need to flash flex to the receiver and module. In addition, you need to make sure Flex option is toggle on OpenTX when you flash. Even though I think the latest OpenTX includes Flex. • Posts: 35 Threads: 4 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2020 Reputation: 0 (28-Jan-2020, 12:44 AM)voodoo614 Wrote: You need to flash flex to the receiver and module. Ya, digging through the forum I have narrowed it down to that. I have flashed everything FCC (US), but seems flex is the way to go. Glad ive finally registered, the search function on this forum has yielded tons of info vs a regular chrome search. Will give an update this evening when I get back to my quad. Thanks again. • Posts: 35 Threads: 4 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Jan 2020 Reputation: 0 (28-Jan-2020, 01:12 AM)ii ndica ii Wrote: Thanks for the reply. Back with the report. Ive flashed everything to flex (open tx 2.3.5, r9mm, and r9m lite module most current) on the x9lite and still no stick input. However with that being said, i think its best i remove my self from this post and start one of my own, at the moment I'm having further issues that over shadow the context of the original post. Should we keep it here? Again, thanks. • Posts: 12,098 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 Probably start a new post. Details of your wiring and a dump file. • |
