Quanum Overlord 6-Way Diversity Receiver
#1
Hi all.
Picked up a Quanum Overload receiver used from a hobby shop the other day and so far very pleased with it. One question: dose it pickup audio? I don't here anything on either AV1 or AV2.
Thanks

I am not 100%, but very likely it does. Are you broadcasting audio to be able to hear something?

Yes I have microphones in my large quad copters. But the audio is quiet on the overlord. Works on all my other receivers.

Any info I can find on this receiver seems to suggest that it doesn't support audio. Have you tried asking HobbyKing customer services (or their technical team) direct?

You've probably already seen this but if you go to the following link and click on the "Rate & Review" tab, member "quad689" is stating that at the time he/she asked, the HK technical team said that audio wasn't supported following which quad689 then stated that he/she resorted to using another separate receiver specifically for the audio feed.

The documentation is bad on the Overload. Maybe it doesn't carry audio. But usually NTSC or PAL also have audio. I wonder what the audio output is for on the unit.

Looking at the unit, it should carry audio. It has all the output for it, the white and red RCA cable should be audio.
