0 Had a light crash today and after that my quad does roll of death randomly. What's weird is that it does a high pitched beep just before that.
I've attached a DVR of the crash.
Hope someone is able to figure out the issue.

20 08-Mar-2022, 01:56 AM (This post was last modified: 08-Mar-2022, 01:56 AM by Rob Axel.) Hate to be a “Debby Downer”.. but a “light crash” is non existent in fpv. I have seen fc’s let out the “magic smoke” from a blade of grass, then also seen quads back in the air after a full diet of asphalt and concrete..
Component durability and how it holds up in real world abuse…sometimes it just the luck of the draw with fpv components ..
Truth be told, with fpv, failure or loss is just part of the game.. and usually just a matter of time..

118 To the OP: Does it do this every flight? every few flights?
Can you turn on OSD warnings on your video feed so we can see what it says?
Did you disarm the quad or did it fall out of the sky?
It seems one or more of your motors went almost 100% while it lost control. Anything touching the motor windings? Any wires touching the gyro chip on the FC?
Is this a new build? Did it always fly like this?

118 Not necessarily a bad motor but it could be a bad MOSFET on ESC #3. Look for burn marks around the MOSFETs and see if they are dislocated.
Try swapping motors around to see if this helps.
You might also want to test ESC# for continuity etc:

0 I have seen this happen due to a motor overheating due to something causing it to not spin freely. It will fly fine until the ESC overamps and shuts down. Just a possibility and not a definitive answer. Normally this will be detectable by picking up the drone immediately after the roll and seeing if one motor is far hotter than the others.
