Hello everybody, I'm having problems binding my receiver to my drone in betaflight. its elrs, and I have another drone that I bound to my receiver before so I don't know where I'm going wrong. I also somehow didnt backup my original settings from the factory and ended up like reflashing my firmware and all kinds of stuff to get this to work. I have a backup of someone elses mobula 6 2024 settings but whenever I try to restore it with that, it keeps throwing some errors and wont backup the full settings. so I'm not sure what is going wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know what you would need to see to help out. Thank you so much

OK so i got it to say telemetry recovered telemetry lost but it still isn't actually binding. i feel like im so close, here's the screenshot where my biding phrase uid looks like 0,0,0,0,0 but up top its the correct one? any idea on how to get that bottom one to change to the correct one casus i feel like thats my problem. i already tried to set it through the cli but it still does the same thing
If you go into the LUA script on your radio, you can see whether or not your radio is bound. There will be a C in the upper right corner if it is connected to the RX. Or there will be the link RSSI icon on you radio screen but that maybe harder to identify.
If you are not bound, then you can either set the passphrase in the receiver tab, or if you do not have one, use the bind button in the same tab. https://www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/binding/
If your radio is bound and you are not seeing any inputs in BF, go to Lua script, make sure you set the packet rate to 500hz or lower (150hz is good). If that still doesn't work, then turn ON model match, save it, and turn it off again and resave.

ok thank you so much I see the C in the lua script so I am bound and ive tried lower packet rates too to no avail. ill try the model match on thing though. and hopefully get that to work.
ok so i tried the model match thing and it still doesn't work. I'm at a total loss here, I have no idea why i would be bound and im seeing my original drone model and also there's an other models tab. but I'm still not getting any stick movement or showing up in betaflight
If you updated or erase your BF firmware, you should restore to factory settings. You can load it from HM website, or at least apply the settings from the manual.
Enable SERIAL_RX on UART1 in the ports tab. In receiver tab, set to SERIAL (via UART) and CRSF protocol.
In general one thing to remember: all elrs Mobula 6 prior to 2024 had a SPI receiver, in which the elrs code is embedded in BF. You bind in BF.
The elrs Mobula 6 2024 version has a UART receiver. You bind via the 3-plug-in method.
And, of course, the major versions of elrs must match between the receiver and transmitter. I believe the Mobula 6 2024 is running elrs 3.x. You can check the transmitter by running the lua script and seeing the version at the bottom.

thank you so much!!! this was it, the 3 plug method. i tried it at the beginning but it wouldn't go into the binding mode for some reason but i reflashed the firmware and started from scratch and did the 3 plug and that solved it. so weird because i thought i remembered something like if you have a binding phrase on your receiver there's no way a drone will go into binding mode with the manual bind like that. I've been messing with this for like 2 weeks now and can finally fly my new toy our my hero lol
