#1
didn't really know how to say what i'm looking for in the subject section but i am looking for something to make binding receivers, checking esc, cameras etc without having to use my fc thats in my quad... just something to convert my pwr to 5v output for the most part. anyone know of something that direction?

for 5volt you would need a „5v bec“, the most pdb has one onboard.
for power esc only you can use the pdb asewll. for real esc checking, you would need a flightcontroller.

a lot flightcontroller has an onboard 5v bec, as you can power the esc directly, no need for a pdb, you will be fine just with a flightcontroller with onboard 5v bec

if you are a friend of tiny soldering, you could use this small 16x16mm fc from hglrc with a 5v 2a bec integrated;

I would just get a FC with integrated PDB.

I have this on my test board, it is cheap and has 5v and 10v outputs.
