Old camera wires help
#1
Hi
Does anyone know this camera off an old owl from Helipad?
I would like to use on a different board but not 100% about the wirers as not marked.
I am hopping red is 5 volt and black is ground pass on the other two.

Thanks

I don’t have this particular camera but the usual standard on all my cameras has been:
Red= 5v or Vbat
Black= Ground
Yellow= Video
White= Could be OSD camera control/settings if the camera supports it

Thanks
So if I go for

Red= 5v or Vbat
Black= Ground
Yellow= Video

As the flight controler has built in OSD it should work.

Thanks again

The white wire could also be an audio connection if the camera has a built in microphone.

red and black should be + and -
the two others doesnt make sense to me, i cant see a mic, why should there be a two signal cable. there isnt osd on such a cam Undecided

you could wire plus and minus and check if you get video rom the yellow or white cable.
my suggestion would be be a modern nano cam. as example a runcam nano.
i believe you will have bad experience/image quality on yours, 10-20 bucks for a modern cam, better image could make a huge difference in flightexperience.

Just to thanks to everyone I found this that looks very close to the one I have.
I might just put me hand in me pocket again and get a newer one.
I think the round thing is a microphone.

Thanks

aaah, good found, a mic :-)

it looks like pretty small cam, nano sized cams should be close about the size.
if you dont need to save weight or need small size, you could get a micro sized cam.
what kind of build is it?

looks good, seems a nano cam is required.

the runcam nano racer 2 or the foxeer predator nano would be the best, but cost are high too.
