No OSD in googles
#1
Hi everyone, I was just wondering if having my TSB Unify pro32 VTX wired straight into my Crossfire nano receiver instead of a spare uart cause me to have no OSD overlay on my video feed in my goggles. I am using Betaflight latest version. Everything else works perfectly.
Thank you.

You have bypassed the Flight controller.OSD feature , that's why you are not getting the OSD.

If you have TBS Unify EVO VTX, you will get OSD connecting the way you do as it has OSD chip.

Just need to wire your VTX to the FC and you will get it.

Turn on OSD in the BF configuration page.

Well I put the rx and tx wires from the vtx onto the flight controller and reconfigured on Betaflight but still no osd. Then did what JB did in and but still no joy. Any other suggestions?

Just to double-check, you should have the camera wired to the flight controller, and the same for the VTX. The flight controller is responsible for placing the OSD over the camera's picture, so it needs to sit in-between the camera and the VTX.

CAMERA -----> FLIGHT CONTROLLER -----> VTX

I don't think I explained that very well, so if that still doesn't make sense could you post a picture of your wiring? Then we can get specific!

The ground is for dead people.
