[NEWS] UK Drone Registration Scheme Update - Total BLX
#1
The farce continues.

If you're a member of one of the UK model flying clubs be aware that those clubs may be forced to automatically pass on the details of all their members to the CAA and then bill those members the registration fee. It seems like the CAA are trying to use this a possible mechanism to stop people who are already a member of one of the flying clubs abstaining from the registration scheme. There are probably some GDPR implications to this so they'd better be careful.

I'm a member of FPV UK. If the above happens then I think it will be time for me to resign as a member.

If you're a UK pilot then I suggest you watch Bruce's video below if you haven't already done so.

When will people realize that the more they consent to bullshit like this the worse it will get? Rhetorical question...

Huzzah, I knew my phobia of forms and apathy about professional bodies would pay off one day!

The ground is for dead people.
