NewbeeDrone Acrobee75 or Mobula 7
#1
So long story short, I tried to teach my dad on my mobula 7 and well... let's just say neither of us will be seeing it again anytime soon. So because of this I'm getting a replacement but came across the Newbeedrone Acrobee75 and was wondering who has had experience with both and which do you prefer. The NBD will come w crossfire and the mobula 7 would be dsmx. Let's here it!

I do not really see any better advantages of one over the other apart from a batter rc link.

My personal favourite is the Mobula6 because you can actually fly it indoors and is much lighter. After having one for an entire winter last year, I decided it had done its job and was time to retire (kill the beast) Smile I could not kill it Smile I flew it (indoors and outdoors) so hard, crashed it so hard (on metal poles and concrete), I did a few hundred turtle modes on it, bent props, the cockroach frame was broken in 10 places and glued up, the canopy was all scratched up with one broken mounting point. The one thing I did not do with it was drop it in water or loose it somewhere. The cells I was flying were so badly beat up that I feared charging them at times but still pushed them. In the end, I decided it was a keeper. I restored it back to its glory with a new frame and canopy and props and gave it a nice maintenance clean and still flies till this day like it was new (same AIO Fc, same motors, same camera). It was my first and only BNF quad and I have no regrets having it.

After a tree ate my Mobula 6, I got a Mobula 7. Flew OK on 1S but when I tried 2s, it went to the stratosphere as soon as the throttle was touched. I somehow didn't get the memo about changing the profile and the rates. Oh well...
I replaced it with a Tiny Hawk II v2 (75 mm wheelbase like the Mob7) and it's night and day. Not sure how much of the better perfomance is due to the AC and how much is due to the lessons learned, but this thing flies like I had hoped. Love it. And the TH II comes with a big yellow and black notice about the 1S v 2S situation.
I highly recommend this quad.

Well, I recently acquired a modified mob6. It’s open props, runcamnano3 and honestly I am somewhat impressed.. not sure how it flew with the prop guards.. but the camera pic is enjoyable, and the vtx sends a clean and somewhat strong signal ..
I have a OG THFreestyle.. i think the only original part left is the battery strap, mostly from pilot error.. at the moment.. I’m installing a DarwinFPV AIO ($29 LONG STORY).. anyway, the 2.5” avan rush props are spot on and I can’t wait to get a 3s battery in it..I love this quad.. and “Learning on it” is easy.. u can use a single 1s battery if u want..It took me a while, but I got it dialed in like it’s on rails…
Newbeedrone”s QC has seemed to have improved..
Honestly, stick time is gonna make the biggest difference … on a sim or actually flying..what I like and what someone else likes may just be the difference in stick time…so, just to let you know,,, no matter what your choice, ir WILL get broke, and or lost at some point….
Just “fly it till you gotta fix it..”
