Problem binding Happy Model Mobula 6 to Radiometer tx16s
#1
Good Afternoon Ya'll,

I recently received my Happy Model Mobula 6 2024 from baangood along with my Radiometer TX16s. However, I'm having some issues binding the the tiny woop to the radio. I tried to bind it using the "Binding Phrase" with ELRS, however, it's not working like I have hoped. I was wondering if there's something else I can try to.

TIA!!

There are a few ways to set up both the transmitter and receiver. ExpressLRS does have a bit of a learning curve.

The transmitter depends on if you are using an internal module or external module. Either way you can connect to your computer directly. Once connected open ExpressLRS configurator and choose your firmware version and target. Then set you bind phrase, home network if you want to connect to that and flash the firmware using UART.

The receiver is a bit more complicated depending on whether you have a SPI or serial receiver on the FC. If it is SPI you need to backup the OEM configuration first. Then update the BetaFlight firmware to 4.4.X. Then the SPI receiver will be able to bind to ExpressLRS V3.X. If you are running BetaFlight configurator 10.9 or 10.10 you can go to the receiver page and set you bind phrase there.

If it is a serial receiver. You connect the FC to the computer. Check if the receiver LED lights up. Some receiver will need the power pack to be plugged in and some will just power up from the USB connection. Once the receiver is powered up you open the ExpressLRS configurator. Then just flash new firmware to the receiver with your bind phrase using the BetaFlight pass through method.
