118 It should be as simple as plugging the module into the JR bay and selecting the CRSF protocol.
On a QX7, you will probably need to do the inverter mod or flash EdgeTX and enable onebit mode for 400k baud rate else without the inverter mod along with OpenTX you will be limited to 250hz packet rate.
I will suggest since you are starting out its best flash the latest ELRS firmware on both TX and RX modules. ELRS is hardware independent in terms of binding so any ELRS RX should be compatible.

118 Best using the EdgeTX flasher for the QX7 version:
Watch the video a few times with subtitles to be sure you know what you are doing.

118 If you have already flashed EdgeTX, then for the next part just plug the sdcard to a computer via a sdcard adapter or via a sdcard slot (available on some laptops) to copy the sdcard contents over via the EdgeTX flasher specific to your radio and language preferences.
The baud rate doesn’t matter any more after you have enabled OneBit mode. But you should see the 400000 baud rate which on some radios is listed as 400K such as my XLiteS.
