Sorry officer, I thought they said 250 centimetres.............. Dude, where's my quad? 18-Jan-2019, 09:44 PM Not sure where everyone is from, but around here claiming ignorance of the law doesn't work. I say if you choose to play by your own rules, which is fine, be prepared to pay for that. I look at it like speeding. I tend to drive faster than the posted limit. Every now and then I get a ticket. I don't consider it a fine, it's the tax I have to pay every now and then to drive as fast as I want.... Deal Here's the Deal 10" 6S FR10-G Long Range, 5" 6S Rooster, 5" 6S Badger, 5" 6S QAV-S, 5" 4S Badger, 5" 4S Phreakstyle Slam, 5" 6S Yema, 5" 4S Stark, 3" 4S Gecko, and a 3S 2.5" Tadpole, all of which are Crossfire. Tinyhawk, Tinyhawk S, and a DJI Spark. And projects on the bench.... 19-Jan-2019, 12:12 AM 250kg!!!! No way! I will need some bigger motors! SoCal Kaity :D OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Addicted :) (19-Jan-2019, 12:12 AM)kaitylynn Wrote: 250kg!!!! No way! I will need some bigger motors! SEE! That's the problem with the metric system, one little letter and things get real fat. Besides....... Don't ruin a good joke by quoting the fact that NASA uses the metric system for its space operations..... 19-Jan-2019, 03:56 PM 19-Jan-2019, 04:10 PM (19-Jan-2019, 02:05 PM)Krohsis Wrote: Don't ruin a good joke by quoting the fact that NASA uses the metric system for its space operations..... Well.....not really ....."the country" that put men on the moon doesn't use the metric system. And this COUNTRY put the men on the moon, not only NASA. So it really isn't fake news. 19-Jan-2019, 08:08 PM (19-Jan-2019, 07:19 PM)Krohsis Wrote: Well.....not really ....."the country" that put men on the moon doesn't use the metric system. I grew up looking through notes he made at the time regarding rocket propulsion. We used to launch "sugar-rockets" in the desert when my sister and I were little. Oh Kaity, I don't get offended (I get even ), and you get more latitude than the average bear. My skin is so thick, it makes an Abrams tank look paper thin. I was just poking fun at those who use the metric system for everything. Some of those countries drive on the wrong side of the road....so what do they know? The Trident missile I worked on used the same guidance package as the Apollo Command Module. And the attachment capscrews were metric. Nothing against the metric system except for measuring distance and speed. 19-Jan-2019, 10:55 PM Do anyone know how long a smoot is? 19-Jan-2019, 11:12 PM 19-Jan-2019, 11:20 PM |
