New build betaflight not detecting vtx
#16
So you are seeing transmitter stick movements when connected to Betaflight? I assume you have enabled the Serial receiver provider to CRSF (Configuration tab) and also selected the correct channel map (Receiver tab)?

Any warning on the OSD when you try to arm?

Do you get a GPS lock? Dis you try enabling "Allow arming without fix" in the Failsafe tab if you have selected GPS rescue mode?

What Barometer do you have?

If you were flying angle mode or some form of stability mode then the accelerometer will need to be calibrated on a flat bench and any minor drifts be trimmed by a quick hover test and using the Betaflight stick menu. I do not like trimming on my radio/transmitter.

Show me a snapshot of your Betaflight Power & Battery tab. You should set the voltage meter source to Onboard ADC and display the voltage on the OSD using the OSD tab.

What version of Betaflight is on your quad? Needs 4.1 or higher for the VTX features I believe...

You cannot arm the quad when hooked up to BF, so the radio won’t control anything. With your props off connect just the battery no USB cable. You should be able to arm the quad and motors should spin at the idle speed. Give some small stick movements and very little throttle as you have no load on the motors. Don’t be alarmed if the motors start acting up this is normal without props on, just disarm and they will stop.
