[New Book] FPV Flight Dynamics: Mastering Acro Mode on High-Performance Drones

Sometimes it only shows the first 20ish pages, and other times it'll jump through the full interior. It's supposed to make 15% of the pages available for viewing, which is about 42 pages, but seems to only be showing half that. I'll have to email their KDP customer service again.

Thank goodness. I thought I was going out of my mind, I swear to god I saw the entire book, but then went back and it was not there anymore.

I can vouch for Amazon's pricing weirdness. I wrote this book in 2013 that was published via Amazon KDP. My intention was to make the book free. Unfortunately, at the time, that wasn't allowed on Amazon (I believe that's changed). So, I priced it as low as I could. People asked about printed copies and the cost was high since it was print on demand.  As the author stated above, very little of that price goes to him. The pricing on my book would fluctuate unexpectedly as Amazon's algorithms were trying to maximize profit and I had no control over that.

I ended up making a (very) small amount of money on the book. Most surprisingly was that I was "big in Japan"!!

Anyway....best of luck with the book. I know you poured your heart and sweat into it.

Hey Lance, thanks for the kind words man! Yeah overall it's rather frustrating to work with Amazon. They take the overwhelming majority of the sale and assume total control over pricing. But there's no way to be seen as truly legitimate unless you're available globally on their platform. So... rock - me - hard place.

I'm actually really happy to announce that I've struck a deal with Rotor Riot and they'll be stocking the book in their online store within the next 2 weeks. I'm glad that I'll have the opportunity to work with other entrepreneurs in the industry and keep the money more in the family, so to speak. I'd rather work with companies like RR and support their business than giant corporations like Amazon that would like to run us all out of the skies anyway.

Where can I find an independent review of the book?

There is a new review on amazon.com which is the best review I have seen so far.

https://www.amazon.com/FPV-Flight-Dynami...247&sr=8-1

I have not bought the book yet, I have read at least 100 pages from amazon Look inside feature, which has now been restricted, if I was just starting into FPV then I would probably buy this book. If this book was right for me now, I would have jumped in and bought it already. We live in an online and youtube age.
The price is yoyoing a bit on amazon UK.

I think this book will not help you with your curse problem.

Yeah I know! He gave it so much press on his channel over the past 2 weeks I was really blown away by it.

Ahaha, oh ok. You had totally lost me there. I asked myself "what is this 'curse problem' he speaks of, and how have I failed to address it in my book??"

I'll be sure to have the second edition anointed by shamans for maximum juju  Wink

Yes, Droneranger was teasing me. But, if there is a possibility that your book will lift this curse, I will buy it, commit it to memory, and share excerpts (with proper attribution) every time I fly. Thanks for your help, and best wishes for success with your endeavor.

Yup! Pretty exciting that Rotor Riot decided to carry it, and cutting out Amazon let me drop the price a little bit. GetFPV and RDQ will begin to sell it within a week as well.
