0 Hi All,
I have a specific application on the farm for an FPV drone. Looks like the following will work:
1) GEPRC CineLog 35 3.5" CineWhoop Drone Analog w/ Caddx Ratel 2 (pnp no receiver)
2) Radiomaster 16S MKll - ELRS
3) Skyzone Cobra X V2 5.8GHz FPV Goggles w/ SteadyView Receiver
What would be a good, solid ELRS receiver to mount in the drone? Any pointers and recommendations appreciated....

19 I have seven different makes/types of ELRS receiver in play at the moment, and five waiting fitting to replace FrSky.
Provided that you have the frame space for it, as its marginally bigger than some, I thoroughly recommend the Matek 2.4GHz R24-D ELRS Diversity Receiver

796 The Happymodel EP1 and EP2 receivers seem to be the most commonly used ones although the QC can sometimes be hit and miss. If you get any then just make sure you inspect the receiver circuit with a magnifying glass before installing it.
The manufacturing quality of the Namimno ELRS receivers is good (I have some of these) and the GEPRC ones also look good too.
I would probably steer you away from buying the BetaFPV hardware which has had known quality issues although it should be noted that I haven't personally seen or tried any of those in person myself.

27 15-Jun-2022, 07:53 PM (This post was last modified: 15-Jun-2022, 07:54 PM by romangpro.) I have 915Mhz ELRS.
I wish there were nano diversity receiver.
I would strongly advise to ALWAYS get diversity receiver.
ELRS handles sudden plummeting RSSI well, but
no amout of LoRa or CSS voodoo can fix antenna nulls.
------
fyi null = antenna tips of rx and tx pointing at each other

They don't communicate or co-operate with the ExpressLRS developers, and some of the ELRS devs specifically advise against buying any ExpressLRS hardware that JHEMCU manufacture and sell.

It’s not the smallest or the lightest ELRS receiver, but it is top notch build quality and has diversity (although, it is antenna switching diversity not true diversity).

Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about.
I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.
