2 25-Sep-2020, 01:47 PM (This post was last modified: 25-Sep-2020, 01:49 PM by Sphere.) I bought a new RadioMaster Ts16 X about a month ago. The other day, as I was getting ready to arm, I made sure all the switches were in the down position. As I flipped the momentary switch it broke off the transmitter, right at the base.
My dilemma: do I ask for replacement under warranty, or just forget it? There are too many switches for FPV flying, and I have no issues moving the beeper to anther location. In fact, I was already thinking about moving the beeper to the flip-over, three-way switch. The Radio Master works great in every way so how would you advise me to proceed?
BTW, I bought it from a reputable dealer in the US, so I am not looking at a return to China.

100 as its brand new, i would ask for a replacement.
you should at least get a replacement switch or a few bucks from your shop, for the next buy.

1 Did it only break the switch or did it break the plastic body of the transmitter?

2 It was just the switch lever. The spring was still inside the toggle.

1 if that's the case then i would say contact either the retailer and see if they can send out some switches, or if you'd have to file a claim with radiomaster. i don't think either will require you to send back the transmitter to address this issue, and most likely will just send out a replacement switch

100 if there was any force to it, but otherwise they probably still know that issue and its a bad badge.
i opened my transmitter many times, but as there is some risk to damage something else i wouldnt like a switch as a replacement if it is truly a faulty switch, i would like a fully replacement for a new product.
a switch is a few bucks, this wont be a problem anyway.

0 I broke the same switch on my TX16s. I ordered a new switch from DefianceRC and replaced it myself. It was an easy drop in replacement.
