796 19-Apr-2020, 07:04 PM (This post was last modified: 19-Apr-2020, 07:14 PM by SnowLeopardFPV. Edit Reason: Typo corrections. ) I just checked all mine and there's a capacitor at that location on all of them. It sticks up quite high though compared to some of the other capacitors so it looks a bit precarious. I can see it being easily knocked off if you're not careful. The only difference is that mine say Nano 43 on them. I'm not sure if that is a batch number or a version number. The circuit layout on mine looks identical to yours.

796 The capacitor connects across two pins on that square IC chip which I believe is the RF chip. Unfortunately it looks like a proprietary IC because there is no identifier on it and the only number seems to be a serial number because that number is different on all of my Nano receivers. If they had used an off-the-shelf IC with an identifier on, we could have looked in the datasheet at the reference circuits to find out what that capacitor is used for, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be an option.

14 Yes. It would also worth a try to fix it by knowing the capacitor characteristics if I can't replace it for a new one under warranty.

14 Thanks for the picture voodoo.
I opened a ticket with TBS, and sent them the picture on my post. They fast replied and that it is 0402 Cap 10uF.
I'll try to sort this out with the vendor because I'm pretty sure that I didn't mess with that component, somehow my board came without it. It's quite a small component, a bit of heat and it will stick to the pads easily I guess, but I don't have the component and it's under warranty, I will try to use it.
I'll share how will this go.
