I am using the fs-ia6b receiver. the flight controller connects fine. I am using the F3 Flight Controller Acro 6 DOF/Deluxe. I have gone back over every tutorial and made sure ppm mode is on, on the fs-i6. • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 (08-Nov-2017, 12:07 AM)hoodedhorntail Wrote: Hi, I have had the exact same issue, i can't get the fs-i6 to connect to Cleanflight. Have you tried changing the AFHDS mode? In the TX menu, go into system ->RX Setup -> RF standard and try swapping the AFHDS / AFHDS 2A setting? It's the red black and white wire on the right hand side. I am following along to this video. about 14 mins in. Also I tried changing the AFHDS mode to off but the fs-i6 would not connect to the fs-ia6b after that so I changed it back (08-Nov-2017, 05:27 AM)Tom BD Bad Wrote: Have you tried changing the AFHDS mode? I am not sure what you mean by selected ibus/sbus on the rx setup. If I select i-BUS setup on the fs-i6 it just shows different channels e.g. CH1. • Posts: 634 Threads: 56 Likes Received: 335 in 196 posts Likes Given: 183 Joined: Mar 2016 Reputation: 15 09-Nov-2017, 10:54 PM (This post was last modified: 09-Nov-2017, 10:57 PM by Grisha0.) nah, rx setup is 2 step (or multi but here i'd like to focus on two) - and im focusing only on the quad side, i assume the TX is configured and bound. 1. tell the system where it should expect rx signal from - this is the step you do now on the screen attached by you (ports tab) 2. go to config tab, if i remember correctly next step is on config page you'd need to scroll down (like mid of scroll) and on the lefthanside there will be rx options is it ibus/sbus/ppm/pwm etc, try to select ibus at first and save. go to rx tab and see if it works All the best Grzesiek (Grisha/ Greg) Curently flyable: Nox 5, Minimalist 112 Bench / in progres: fixing Nox 3, Scrap thinking about building: 450 Posts: 8 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 5 in 3 posts Likes Given: 2 Joined: Nov 2017 Reputation: 0 (09-Nov-2017, 10:54 PM)Grisha0 Wrote: nah, rx setup is 2 step (or multi but here i'd like to focus on two) - and im focusing only on the quad side, i assume the TX is configured and bound. 1. tell the system where it should expect rx signal from - this is the step you do now on the screen attached by you (ports tab) 2. go to config tab, if i remember correctly next step is on config page you'd need to scroll down (like mid of scroll) and on the lefthanside there will be rx options is it ibus/sbus/ppm/pwm etc, try to select ibus at first and save. go to rx tab and see if it works Hi brill I think I have found where you mean. I have made the following change and it is now moving the Roll, pitch and throttle inside of clean flight. this is a big step forward, thanks. The last step is to get the controller to actual power the motors. I have got the motors working by controlling them on clean flight. Is there anything else I need to do to get the fs-i6 to power my quad? • Posts: 634 Threads: 56 Likes Received: 335 in 196 posts Likes Given: 183 Joined: Mar 2016 Reputation: 15 09-Nov-2017, 11:04 PM (This post was last modified: 09-Nov-2017, 11:06 PM by Grisha0.) good place, good config ... now 1. ENSURE YOU HAVE PROPS OFF. 2. look at point 1. 3. sure that point 1 completed? 4. on the receiver tab you will see modes (dropdown with options) once you will select AFAIR AERT smth... hit save your sticks should be good. 5. but first check point 1. if you see all "sticks" are moving the correct bars - ie throttle moves throttle not roll... then you will also need to setup the "Modes tab" set one of the switch that you tested on the receiver tab to "ARM" in the middle hit save. look at point 1 again... flip the switch... Thanks again, so the props are definitely off, I checked point 1 a few times :-) the throttle is moving the throttle, so i went into modes and set the following. I am a bit of a noob so I think I have set it wrong. Please see attached. If nothing else this thread will hopefully help anyone else with this issue. So grateful for your time on this. • Posts: 8 Threads: 0 Likes Received: 5 in 3 posts Likes Given: 2 Joined: Nov 2017 Reputation: 0 (09-Nov-2017, 11:15 PM)hoodedhorntail Wrote: Thanks again, so the props are definitely off, I checked point 1 a few times :-) the throttle is moving the throttle, so i went into modes and set the following.
