Yeah, just poking Snow.  We poke each other from time to time....all in good fun. Tongue

Snow is a fan of Ummagrip, I like velcro.  Each to their own, and Ummagrip is a good product, even if it's substandard. ROFL

You say that, but:

To be fair I doubt that would have worked on any frame besides the Remix, due to the crazy centre-of-mass it's got. Funny, though ;-)

I told you it was sticky Big Grin I still wouldn't be brave enough to run Ummagrip without straps though, but with straps you know your LiPo is as safe as houses Smile

One thing to note is that over time it gets less sticky due to the debris that collects on it out in the field, but you can re-vitalise it somewhat with sticky tape to keep it as fresh as possible. You simply just stick some strips onto it and then pull them back off which takes all the debris with them. I do this as part of every post flight routine when I get home after a flying session Smile

Why pay good money for Ummagrip? Dirt makes them useless. 3M dual lock is the best. Dirt proof and cheaper. Only disadvantage, you have to put it on the lipo also.

Nope, Ummagrip is good stuff Smile Not that expensive, you only need a little piece per quad Smile
when it gets dirty, you only need to clean it with water, then it's as good as new Smile

Yay! I've got the boss on my team Big Grin Tongue

The naysayers can keep their old fashioned velcro which is clogged up with manky hair & fluff Tongue  It means more Ummagrip for the rest of us Big Grin

Ummagrip is 100 x 50 mm for $5. $0.001 per mm Sq.

3m duallock is $12.95 for 1 inch x 4 feet. $0.0004 per mm Sq.

And don't mistaken 3M for velcro. Not even close to the same thing.

Surely 3M duallock can't attract women hair like Ummagrip. Actually, women hair just attracts to everything.

Honestly, for a first time soldering they don't look half bad. A bit too much solder on the pads, but a lot better than my first go!

Guys..
Did some nice progress today until I fked up.

When soldering last telemetry wire on last ESC, i accidently bridged it to some sort of small thingy right next to it.
Trying to fix it made me broke it off from the ESC.. Please help, what it's for and have i broken my esc?
Can I try to fix it?

Hope images describe the problem.
