Motors not spinning, just twitching
#1
I have been building digital long range drone, using:
FC: F722 DJI Mini MK2 FC
ESC: F40 40A BLHeli_S Mini ESC
Just by some reason I have ordered mini stack =), but ok...
Powered by 4s lipo

What happened?
During assembly I have lost 9v BEC, and after several checks I have found out that one of pins on ESC was touching another one (suddenly 2 pins were trying to go into one hole in plug, see picture). As I understand these were + and -, and consequence was quite strange - all working except 9v bec.

Current status:
I have power on FC (which is going from ESC to FC), and components are working, but motors are not rotating.
At some point (aroung 30% power) these are twitching (if control from betaflight).
Bheli32 software do not recognise ESC's as well (does it should? ECS is just BLHeli_S).

This is my second drone (and first on digital) - maybe ESC is still fine, I am just doing something wrong?

All is fine. Have figured out, where to see why wuad will not arm (main page in betaflight)
Had to turn off bidirectional smthing )

It sounds like you have an older version of the BLHeli_S firmware installed on the ESCs which don't support bi-directional DSHOT. The newest version does so if you want to use bi-directional DSHOT (for RPM filtering) then all you need to do is to install the latest version of BLHeli_S firmware or switch to using Bluejay firmware instead.
