Mobula 7 HD Bind button?
#1
Hi again. I've just received a Happymodel Mobula 7 HD 2-3s version (FrSky). I am having a devil of a time getting it in the air. The main issue is I can't connect to Betaflight unless I hold the USB cable just right, so I can't use the manual bind process. I also cannot for the life of me find the stupid bind button on the board. I can't access anything on the Happymodel website as it is blocked here at school and I don't have enough cell service in my classroom to do it on my phone.

If there's anyone here that knows where the little button is, can you please advise so I can at least get it flying? I'm hoping to bind it to a Taranis QX7

*EDIT: I found a schematic online. Found the button which incidentally is in a horrible spot. Can't get it to bind though

two ways to get it in bind mode, press the button, or enter command in CLI.

Note that you need to hold it down for around 2 seconds until the LED becomes solid. When binding is successful LED will start blinking

Or use the CLI to enter bind mode:

I use a specific dedicated USB cable for connecting my quads to my computer and I have the same dodgy connection issue with the Crazybee F4 board on my 75mm whoop. Using a different cable that has a tighter fit in the socket solves the problem. So it's worth trying a different cable that has a noticeably tighter fit to see if that resolves your issue too.

I have plenty of cables. I'll give that a shot today. Oscar: My board I think is the V3.0 board, the motor connections are snugged right up against one another on either side. Hopefully today I'll be able to get it flying.

I found a cable that worked. I can now work in Betaflight. I updated the drivers and now I need to make sure the CLI dump is good.
