Just got these in, don't they look pretty?
I was told metal capped MOSFET runs cooler than traditional fets, so that's something to look forward to when testing these Now we can monitor ESC temperature through telemetry  
By the way these are 60A ESC (continuous) so should be able to take some pretty bad abuse!

Does look nice. I just checked out their website and saw the Succex 50A slick esc's. They will fit in the wire grooves of my Fossils stuff Gravity frame to protect from a prop strike. May have to try them out.

Sure look's like a stunner, Hope those mosfets don't short because of the metal. I mean it's conductive, right? Wet grass or something like that and it's gone...

No. The metal is a heatsink "cap" over the top of each MOSFET. Underneath will be non-electrical conductive thermal paste between the cap and the MOSFET. The caps will likely be pretty well sealed on so that no water can get under them to the MOSFETs. While there are no guarantees, the MOSFETS themselves should be far more resilient to moisture than normal ESCs which have all their pins exposed are.

It's just a metal cap, like a heatsink

I got their XL5 5-inch frame recently and can also say it's quite polished for the money. Granted I don't have very high standards since this frame replaced my busted Wizard x220s frame, which is my first and only carbon framed quad (not to mention weak AF). iflight seems to have the most consistently good selection on quad parts on Amazon with decent (albeit infrequent) reviews. If you just need a basic replacement part asap without waiting a decade on shipping, iFlight seems to do the job beautifully.

Tip for soldering: It has the perforated pads so flip it upside down and apply solder to the pads with high heat(400C).  The solder will flow through and when you flip it over, you'll have the perfect solder dome to solder your motor wires to.

excellent tip, not a lot of people mention this in fact

Ok just as a heads up I noticed that the esc cable I received is not color coded correctly. Black and red for ground and voltage are flipped so they match up with telemetry and current.

Doesn't matter much since you should double check pinouts any way. Just don't magically assume black goes to ground.
