I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of on this. 2 different stacks, 2 different and brand new receivers, tried 4 different uart ports and reversing the wires on those. tried setting up a new model in my radiomaster tx16s, ran lua scripts....i am starting to look thru old stuff for a voodoo doll and some needles at this point...lol ANY help is appreciated. thanks
Hi Indyracer,
Somewhere along the line, we have missed something so let us back up and review.
If the receiver is bound, the TX-RX pads match the Port in Betaflight, and the Receiver setting in Betaflight is set to CRSF; then it should work. Now, you have tried a couple of different receivers, several sets of Rx pads, and even setting up a new model...and...nothing works...Correct? So, what ever is wrong, it is consistently wrong. It is just a matter of finding it.
You indicate that you have used 2 different stacks; which ones specifically...post the links so we can look up the wiring.
Is the picture that you posted that latest attempt? If not, try to post another one...and maybe one of the Betaflight Ports tab and the Betaflight Configuration tab.
Ok, now I am going way out on a limb here and this is going to sound crazy, but...
you wouldn't happen to have a standard SBUS receiver such as an XM+ lying around would you??
If so, you might try using that...wire it up SBUS...make sure the settings are correct...and see if it works.
IF this works, at least you have a quad that flies.
Edit: PS.
You might consider using connectors. Given the issues, I might use a 2 pin JST 1.25 for power and a 2 pin JST 1.25 for the signal (Rx-Tx). Just a thought
