Hi All,
I just got the Kopis after reading all the great reviews. On plugging in the 4th pack, the vTX stopped working. I was so thrilled to be able to adjust PIDs and Tx power via my controller, then nothing . . . . - ugh. I noticed when I was getting it configured in betaflight (with battery plugged in) the vTX was getting hot - 133 F. Worked great for 3 flights - nice and slow, no crashes or even rough landings. There is power getting to the vTx from the FC, but no status light or anything and I don't want to dig any further so I can return it.
This is the first "professionally" built quad I've ever bought. I've been building my own for a couple years now. When I saw the Kopis, I couldn't deny the value and bit the bullet. So now the debate - do I return the whole thing and get a new unit? Do I buy a new atlatl vTX and risk that one failing too? Try to rig a different one in there? Has anyone else had this issue? Or other quality control issues with Holybro stuff?
I appreciate any input! Also, many thanks to Oscar - your site has been so helpful in learning this hobby!!
