Jumper T-Lite Transmitter
#1
This was posted on Jumper's Facebook page (HERE). There are no other details about this new Jumper T-Lite transmitter yet other than it is due to be released "soon". It looks like it has the same screen as the TBS Tango 2. I wonder if/when Radiomaster and "Radioking" will also follow suit.

Only a matter of time for Radiomaster to come out with something similar.

I still don't really get these game console type radios.... I guess people with small hands would like them but I really struggle to use them. I really like the size and feel of my QX7.

Pre-order on bangood:

There are some more pictures and I think the price is good.

Interesting comment from open tx dev about Jumper and this radio:

I hope Jumper will not repeat the same mistakes and the radio will be fully supported by open tx...

That's an interesting stance to take by the OpenTX devs but you can't really blame them if Jumper have been messing them around. If they refuse to support the new T-Lite transmitter then I guess we will see the reincarnation of "JumperTX". Who remembers that? LOL

Yes it was interesting to read it but you are right and I also agree with them...
I would like to have a small radio and the T lite would be great because of the form factor. However I also like the new Radiomaster TX12.

I'm very keen on small form factor as I carry everything on my backpack, so switching from my QX7 means literally saving a third of space (and probably weight!).

I'm keeping an eye open for these, but didn't know about these issues around Jumper that are mentioned in the link Oleeg posted. Fingers crossed!

As a follow-on from post #7, the OpenTX devs have announced that the Jumper T-Lite will be officially supported by the next release of OpenTX (version 2.3.12).

EDIT: Confirmation is in OpenTX pull request #8230.

I know this supports the TBS Crossfire Nano receiver, but will it also support the TBS Tracer Nano?

EDIT: I am meaning via the module bay.

There is no reason why not because both the Crossfire and Tracer use the same connections and CRSF protocol to talk to the transmitter. So if Crossfire works with the Jumper T-Lite then so will Tracer.

Oh dear. The T-Lite transmitter looks like it might be another fail by Jumper. Being incapable of supporting external modules that you want to configure with an output power of more than 25mW is definitely a showstopper IMO. So it's therefore probably only useful for a beginner or for Tiny Whoop pilots who just use standard 2.4GHz FrSky receivers.

xD really bad words about xD who payed that review?

i guess he holds a transmitter pretty strange, i guess i wouldnt have any issues by the switches. he might just need the cheapo-tiny x-lite or betafpv literadio v2 switches.
i can absolutly not understand to suggest the very very crappy buttons on the tango, the buttons on the tango an absolute fault in my eyes, more about their quality, a button can work nice.

25mw at 900mhz is still a lot, external powered modul is truly a downside, specialy for beginners Undecided dont like to start by modding to get 500mw output Undecided
external power needed wont be a dealbreaker for me.

could there probably find some 21700 place? xD funny! who will believe in dave words xD
