identifying SMD component on a Zeez F7 V1 FC
#1
Hello people,

due to a short circuit this component on my FC, a Zeez F7 V1, literally blew off the board. I'm not a technician but when compared to other FCs I have it looks like a voltage regulator of some kind, maybe a 5V one?. Is there anyone around here who may have the same board and can help me identify it exactly?

Thanks

It might be useful if you highlighted on the FC board which component is actually missing / damaged because unless I'm being blind I can't easily see that from your photo.

I had indicated the missing piece with a red arrow  Huh

Anyway, thanks to the mighty Oscar, i just found he made a review of the very same hw and got you a more clear detail of the missing piece..

Sorry, the red arrow was way too thin to see in that small image and it was just camouflaged against the black silkscreen of the board. Now you mention it is there I can just about make it out. In future it is best to use a thicker arrow, and a yellow one where the background is dark.

I don't own a Zeez F7 V1 FC and I can't find any high enough resolution images anywhere to see the identifiers on top of that chip so you will probably have to wait for someone to come along who has the same FC and can check for you with a magnifying glass.

Failing that, I suggest you contact Zeez direct using the link below and ask them if they can tell you the type and specifications of that particular component...

Thanks for your kind reply, Snow...extremely helpful as always!

I got in contact directly with Zeez support and someone will provide the correct part number in a few days!
