I've tried every other workaround all with no results.

There's even bizarre conflicting reviews of a guy who claims to have updated it to betaflight had more issues got sent a replacement tried to update it and realized it's a proprietary all in one board with no boot pads or buttons so he couldn't update it...(what?) How did he update it in the 1st place? Was the 1st batch standard F3's I doubt it...

I'm not going to waste my time trying to bridge near microscopic pins on a chip that small...into the parts bin it goes...

No worries. It's always a good learning experience trying to troubleshoot stuff. Sometimes you just have to admit defeat and throw in the towel. You will have a much better time with a more modern quad that is running much more up-to-date hardware and firmware, so maybe it was a sign to just move on.

There seems to be very little info out there on the Redcat Racing Carbon 210 Race Drone so this thread might end up helping someone else out who (still) has the same quad and is looking on the internet for information about it. So please don't delete this thread.
