FRsky R9SX not binding R9M 2019 module
#1
1. Taranis 2019 Access transmitter 2.3.10
2. R9M2019 MODULE Access FCC.frk software
2.Receiver R9SX with FCC.frsk software loaded external module pins

Tried to register the receiver with no luck .

Tried various permutations and combinations with no luck these include:
1. flex frk module & receiver
2. Flash S Port device,  Flash Rx by ota no connect, no connect.

I have been listening to many YOU TUBE presentations but the bottom line, when I am done with what they are telling me to do, I still cant get past registration. I have an FRsky hangup that doesnt happen with other brands. Can some provide me with a set of instructions, where the module software and receiver software talk to each other or point out something I have overlooked. Appreciate

Do you have another receiver to try? It could just be a bad receiver.

I have a Horus x10 express. If it’s the same, I had to update the internal irsm firmware to the newer version before I got my MXR9 to work with the r9m2019 module. Make sure all firmware is the latest.

You can try the X10 to see if it works. If it doesn't, then there might be something wrong with the Taranis. Likely a firmware issue that you can try updating the OpenTX firmware again.

Edit: I misread. I guess you are asking whether to update the Taranis 2019 internal module to the latest firmware. I would try it. There is nothing to lose.

I was suggesting that they try that for the tarnis if you can. When Snowlepord helped me with mine the irsm needed to also be updated for the radio to work.

Yes I agree. It is a good suggestion.

I finally got to the root of the problem. In frustration I purchased Taranis QX7 access Tx. Now everything works. Bad X9D se 2019 Access TX. You talk about flashing with ISRM firmware. I have is flashed to companion 2.3.10 but I believe you are talking about other software. I see git hub has ISRM files. Will check it out.

You can find the ISRM firmware here. Load it onto the SD card in firmware folder. Then flash it.

I’m still wondering why the newer radio firmware is still beta after almost a year. Then the new whatever radio pops up. Has frsky already abandoned the Horus series of radios? Makes you wonder. It is  a shame, I like my radio but what a horrible company. Still waiting to hear back from FrSky’s technical support from many months ago. If it wasn’t for the intofpv forum I would have had 2 expensive paperweights!

The IRSM firmware is for the internal 2.4GHZ module. My understanding is the Taranis series can only be accst or access. Not both. The Horus series can use both accst and access receivers.

All of the newest series of ACCESS capable Taranis transmitters can do both ACCESS and ACCST (albeit only D16 ACCST and not D8 like the older Taranis radios are also capable of).
