Hi, I would like to ask you for help with my FC. I have been using the GOKU F745PRO (FLYWOOF745) for a long time without any problem, but I have never updated it.

Now due to upgrade to O3 Unit I had to update FC from betaflight 4.3 to the latest one. When I did so, one engine was not spinning and the others were remapped. The problem persists even though I downgraded back to 4.3.

I solved it for now by installing FLYWOOF745AIOV2 instead of the correct firmware.

So the drone flies great except for one thing, and that is that twice now FC simply stopped to work. The video, radio stopped working. The drone after unplug/plug battery works fine again. Once it dropped me like this before takeoff and once it disconnected in flight.

So I want to ask if bad firmware can be related to this sudden shutdown and if anyone has a solution to make the drone fly with the correct firmware.

Did you make a backup of your firmware that worked prior to updating? Because there are settings made for your specific quad that usually you have to reconfigure after flash firmware.

As for the problem you are currently experiencing, you probably need to provide a blackbox log for someone to figure out what the problem is.

Thanks for your reply, I just found the solution after 3 long days I hope.

I didnt make any backups or download logs. I built the quad, so I know what I did set. Just basic things

Now I found out that when I update firmware which should be there but do not work and remap motors by original cli from flywoo websites (https://cdn.shopifycdn.net/s/files/1/001...1631786490)

What do you think, is the drone reliable now?

I am glad you are got it working. I always make a backup dump and diff all of my settings. This way you don't have to go through the hassle of reconfiguring.

As for if the quad is reliable, the only thing I know about your quad is it has a Goku FC and an O3 unit. Is Flywoo a top tier brand, I have not heard anything bad. Upper middle tier if I have to guess. Will your FC go bad, if you never crash. Probably not. Things like esc and motors likely will break first. With crashes, nothing is really reliable.
