FC stop responding when VTX is connected
#1
Hello, need some help. I disassembled my geprc tinygo which doesn't turn on and figured out that FC is working correctly when I disconnect VTX. Maybe it is some known problem and somebody can tell me what I can do to make it working. Thanks!

Is this with the VTX set on all the various power output choices? Is the VTX fed from the FC's regulator? Does the VTX work if you feed it independantly?

Thank you for reply! No, I suppose I tried only one default option. Yes, VTX fed from the FC as I understand, I connected it to FC only. How I can feed it independantly?

What VTX do you have? Can it be powered from vbat voltage?

There's a fault checking guide there! Have you by chance put it into PIT mode????

I can't do this, FC connects to betaflight only when VTX is disconnected from it. Otherwise it looks like dead, no LED lights at all. If I unplug VTX from FC, it starts successfully from USB and batteries. I suppose that my VTX is just dead but I wanted to confirm it before order new one. Thank you for helping, lets have a little patience on newbee.. )))

That VTX requires 5V voltage and you are unable to power it up from VBAT.

I assume the voltage regulator on your FC can't supply enough power.

You may want to try an external BEC to power up your VTX like the ones made from Matek: https://www.mateksys.com/?portfolio=mbec6s
