FC goes to DFU when I plug in the USB
#1
After a crash, I lost video and then tried to connect it to the BF to see what happened and by default the FC goes to the DFU mode. When I exit the DFU mode it works fine, I have video and all is ok. But when I unplug and plug again the USB I have the same issue, it goes again to DFU mode.

Any ideas if I can fix this? or I need new FC?

Check your boot button to see if you have a short (permanent close circuit). Use a DMM on continuity mode to check.

You can't just look. You have to check it with a DMM (multimeter).

Yes, I used the multimeter but is not shorted. Only when I am pressing the switch is shorted which is normal.

Try to reflash with full chip erase. Remember to backup a dump file before you reflash.

Sorry for the delay in reply. A lot of time i do not get a notification.

Good troubleshooting if you figured it out.

I ordered the Diode Zener 3.9V 5% 500mW 2Pin SOD123 and hopefully will work. The rest of the components looks okay.
I will update tomorrow, just in case if anyone else has the same issue.

And after I changed the diode, it worked. Wooohhoooo! It was one diode off next to the switch.
